St Ives golf professionals can take your game to a whole new level by improving your swing and lowering your score. Whether you need a quick tune up or want to develop a long-term game development program, our golf pros offer a variety of programs and packages to meet each student’s need, time and budget. Read our pros bios below and view their instruction packages. Private and group lessons are available to St Ives Members Members. From individual sessions to group lessons, St Ives County Club offers instruction for juniors, men, and women.

MOLLIE BONEY, LPGA, PGA

Mollie is a Class A member of the LPGA, and PGA of America and joined St Ives in 2014. Mollie spent four years at Youngstown State University, where she played Division 1 collegiate golf. Alongside athletics and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, she spent a winter at FITLIFE Athletic Enhancement in Phoenix, Arizona, training a wide variety of athletes. Mollie is a certified Health Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine, who has worked at The Lake Club, and the Weston Golf Club as an Assistant Golf Professional. Mollie is also certified in 3D Golf Analysis and a Jim McLean Certified Instructor.

GARRETH CARPENTER

Born and raised in Augusta, GA, Garreth is currently working towards becoming a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America and is finishing the Apprentice Level 1 Program. Prior to attending college Garreth had remarkable success as a junior golfer and member of The First Tee of Augusta. Among his successes he won a 4AAA GSGA State Championship as a first-year student at Westside High School and was the youngest competitor in the Walmart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach.

Garreth went on to attend North Carolina Central University on a golf scholarship where he received a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Administration/Business Administration with a minor in Sports Management. While attending college he worked as an Operations Assistant and Teaching Professional under the tutelage of Kyle Kimball at Hillandale Golf Course and esteemed Golf Professional Ed Ibarguen at Duke University. He also worked as a tech/fitting specialist at Edwin Watts and Golf Galaxy.

Garreth established himself as a top tier caddy at Sage Valley Golf Club, Level 1 Life/Golf Skills Coach at First Tee of Augusta and as a teaching professional that managed Must Be Nice Golf Academy at Wedges and Woods Driving Range. He is a certified Adaptive Golf instructor by Dave Windsor PGA. Garreth will be working in further developing St Ives Junior Golf Program and Pro Shop Operations.
